Day 2: The Road of Generosity

Scripture: Luke 3:11 - "If you have two shirts, share with someone who has none."

Reflection: Think about how wonderful it feels when someone shares with you, whether it’s a game, a snack, or a comforting hug. Sharing is one of the ways we can spread love and joy, just like the teachings of John the Baptist. He encouraged people to share their coats and food with those who didn't have any. During Advent, let's practice being generous. It's not just about giving toys or clothes; it’s about offering love, time, and kindness.

Close your eyes and imagine a community where everyone shares happily with one another. Everyone would feel loved, supported, and never left out. This is the vision John had, a world filled with God’s love through sharing! Advent gives us the chance to share our blessings, small or big, and show others the love Jesus has shown us. Picture how much joy your kindness can bring to someone else. That’s what Christmas is all about, celebrating Jesus, who generously gave His life for us.

Family Activity: Choose a giving activity. You might purchase toys or give to the FW Toy Shop or help someone in your neighborhood. Plan how your family will share joy this week.

Prayer: Lord, teach us to share what we have. Help us to be generous like you. Amen.
