Scripture: Isaiah 9:6 (NIV): "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

Reflection:

Merry Christmas! Today we celebrate the birth of Jesus, our greatest gift. He came to earth to be with us and bring joy, peace, and hope to everyone. Jesus is known as our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. This means He guides us, protects us, loves us forever, and fills our lives with peace. As we open gifts and spend time with family, let’s remember that Jesus is the true reason for celebrating. His love and joy brighten every moment of our lives and remind us that we're never alone. Today, let’s fill our hearts with His love and let the joy of knowing Him be the best gift of all.

After opening presents, take some time together as a family to thank Jesus for the joy He brings. Share your favorite part of the Christmas story and how it speaks to you today.

Prayer:

Thank you, Jesus, for coming into our world. Thank you for being our joy and our peace. We celebrate You today and every day. Fill our home with Your love and let our lives reflect Your joy. Amen.
